Agra City Of Taj:

 

Agra also known as being home to  one of the Seven Wonders of the world the Taj Mahal  city of The Taj Mahal, Is a part of the immense state of Uttar Pradesh. Agra city itself can be an intense experience, even for seasoned India hands.  Agra saw the best period of region when the city was controlled and ruled by the great Mughal Emperor Akbar. After Ibrahim Lodi died  in the war of Panipat in 1526 Agra became one of the principal cities for the Mughal Empire Agra is a ideal destination for tourists from all over the globe. This city is considered hopelessly romantic because of the great monument of Taj Mahala history, that graces it with its presence. Agra city standing on the banks of river Jamuna. Agra is famous for its delicacies  variety of cuisines to travelers besides the Mughlai cuisine. Agra is well known for the other palaces and forts that were mainly built in the Mughal era.

Attraction:

Agra Fort: The Agra Fort is the one of the most famous Fort in India,the fort was built by Akbar in 1565. It consists of a wall built in red sandstone and several buildings inside. Notable buildings in the fort include the Pearl Mosque, the Diwan-e-Am and Diwan-e-Khas, Jehangir's Palace, Khaas Mahal, Sheesh Mahal (mirrored palace), and Musamman Burj.

Fatehpur Sikri: The grate Mughal Emperor Akbar built Fatehpur Sikri between 1569 and 1585. Its about 35 km away from Agra, and moved his capital there. Fatehpur Sikri is one of the finest examples of Mughal architectural splendor at its height. A world heritage Site, it is often visited by tourists to Agra.

Jama Masjid: Jama Masjid is near the Red Fort about 500m, the biggest mosque in India. Jama Masjid is a large mosque attributed to Shah Jahan's daughter, Princess Jahanara Begum. Jama Masjid built in 1648,and the whole cost about a million rupees.

Itmad-Ud-Daulah's Tomb: Itmad-Ud-Daulah's Tomb built by the Mughal Empress Nur- Jehan,  sometimes called the Baby Taj, for her father Ghias-ud-Din Beg.  Ghias-ud-Din Beg is the chief minster of the Mughal Emperor  Jhangir. Along with the main building, the structure consists of numerous outbuildings and gardens.  Its garden layout and use of white marble, pietra dura, inlay designs and latticework presage many elements of the Taj Mahal


How to reach:

By Air : Agra airport is nearest airport to reach Agra, Its 7 km away from the city center and 3 km from Idgah bus stand.

By Rail : Agra Railway junction is major railway junction to reach Agra.

By Road : Idgah bus stand is the main bus stand of Agra. U also catch buses for Delhi, Jaipur, Mathura, Fatehpur-Sikri, etc.
