Introduction:
Dalhousie is a popular hill station in Chamba District in Himachal Pradesh. Dalhousie established in 1854 and its built on and around 5 beautiful and densely wooded hills (Kathlag, Potreyn, Terah, Bakrota and Bhangora). Located on the Dhauladhar mountain, ranging from 1525 meters (5000 ft.) to 2738 mts. Dhainkund : Dhainkund is the tallest peak around Dalhousie. Its located at a hight of 2745 meters and 10 km away from Dalhousie. There is a very popular devi temple on the hill. Dhainkund from where one can be obtained a crystal clear view of the verdant valleys of the Beas, Chenab and Ravi rivers.
Bakrota Hills : The Bakrota hills at the altitude of 2085 meters from sea level and around 5 km from the G.P.O.Square. The Bakrota Mall a popular walking around these hills has a panoramic view of mountains.
St. Andrew's Church: St. Andrew's Church built in 1903. This Church is a popular tourist attraction in Dalhousie. The Church is located at a distance of one and half km from the Dalhousie. It was constructed due to the efforts of Protestant Christians. Though quite old, the building of the church is still in a very good condition.
