INTRODUCTION:

Mandawa is one of the most beautiful forts in Rajasthan. Mandawa is a town in Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan in India. It is part of Shekhawati region. Mandawa is situated 190 km off Jaipur in the north. The Mandawa Fort in Rajasthan was founded by Nawal Singh in the 18th century. The town lies between latitude 28°.06’ in the north and longitude 75°.20’ in the east. Mandawa is famous its Fort and Havelis. The fort has now been converted into a Heritage hotel that draw portrait a medieval image but has all morden facilities. . The rooms of the Mandawa Fort are decorated with complicated mirror work and beautiful paintings. Mandawa Fort of Rajasthan is truly worth seeing when visiting India. The fort also has an open terrace, which offers a astonishing view of the town. There are many havelis around the Mandawa Fort that are built in the typical Rajasthani style. There is the glorious Hanuman Prasad Goenka Haveli, The Haveli has immense gates that open up to the Haveli that stuns everyone who visits the place. The front of the Hanuman Prasad Goenka Haveli is decorated with glorious images of elephants and horses in a grand and regal style. Mandawa Fort is the one of the major tourist attractions of Mandawa. The Mandawa Fort built in the year 1797.Some of the famous havelis of Mandawa are the Saraf haveli, and Chokhani and Ladia havelis. Every haveli at Mandawa is unique in the sense that none of the rooms of the havelis have any similarities.

Nearest Airport :- The nearest airport is Jaipur Airport to reach Mandawa.

Nearest Railhead :- The Jhunjhunu Railway Station is the nearest railway station. Jhunjhunu railway station is also connected to Delhi, Jaipur and Bikaner.

BY ROAD - Road networks crisscross the entire region of Shekhawati, and Mandawa is well connected with other places in the region by private as well as government buses. It is a good idea for groups of four or five persons to hire taxis to move around the place.
